2022 Summer School in Mathematical Models in Social Innovation (MMiSI), September 1 - 10, 2022 - L'Aquila
The 2022 Summer School in MMiSI - Mathematical Models in Social Innovation involves a set of short courses addressed to MSc and PhD students.
The programme will revolve around applied mathematics viewed as an interdisciplinary area at the interface with engineering, economy, life and social sciences. It will cover several applied topics including models for biology, opinion formation, traffic and pedestrian flows and data sciences. We will be addressing different methodologies, such as the analysis of partial differential equations, numerical calculus and simulations and kinetic modeling.
The programme will be consist of
- An online preparatory module in the period September 1-2, 2022
- And in-presence week in the period September 5 - 10, 2022 hosted by the D.I.S.I.M. (Department of Information Engineering, Computer Sciences and Mathematics) of the University of L'Aquila
All the students who wish to join our summer school must be currently enrolled in an MSc or PhD course in one of the following disciplines:
- Mathematics,
- Aplied mathematics,
- Physics,
- Engineering,
- Or similar subjects.
