Last Saturday, 17 May 2025, we went to the Hafen City and participated in the annual run (since 2002) in the Port of Hamburg.

Part of the entry fees go to charitable projects for children, young people and adults in need.

Students from the InterMaths and MathMods programmes joined the TUHH university group of students, scientific and administrative employees. 
We beat our own (university) record with more than 200 runners! In total more than 20.000 runners participated, employers from companies in and around Hamburg with their families.  Winning was not important, the fun of doing something together was the main focus for everyone. Everyone had a lot of fun, a welcome change from the daily math routine! 😊

The weather also played along, first a few drops of rain, but then the sun was shining, a few clouds were visible and of course it was a bit windy:  This is Hamburg!

A delegation from UAQ (University of L'Aquila - Italy), led by Prof. Bruno Rubino, along with a delegation from KNUST (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi - Ghana) led by Dr. Henry Martin, have on this day, May 20 2025, met with H.E. Laura Ranalli, Ambassador of Italy to Ghana within the framework of the long-standing RealMaths Double-Degree cooperation.

The Evaluation Committee of the InterMaths Network involving the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master “InterMaths - Interdisciplinary Mathematics”, the European Joint MSc “MathMods - Mathematical Modelling in Engineering” and the International MSc “RealMaths - Mathematics for Real World Applications”) has just completed the evaluation of the applications for the 2025 cohort.

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master “InterMaths - Interdisciplinary Mathematics” has just opened its applications for the 2025 edition. 

The deadline is 5 March 2025 at 1 PM (Italy Time) for applicants who wish to be considered for Consortium scholarships and other funding opportunities.

The applications for the 2025 edition of our International MSc "RealMaths - Mathematics for Real World Applications" have just opened.
