Last Saturday, 17 May 2025, we went to the Hafen City and participated in the annual run (since 2002) in the Port of Hamburg.

Part of the entry fees go to charitable projects for children, young people and adults in need.

Students from the InterMaths and MathMods programmes joined the TUHH university group of students, scientific and administrative employees. 
We beat our own (university) record with more than 200 runners! In total more than 20.000 runners participated, employers from companies in and around Hamburg with their families.  Winning was not important, the fun of doing something together was the main focus for everyone. Everyone had a lot of fun, a welcome change from the daily math routine! 😊

The weather also played along, first a few drops of rain, but then the sun was shining, a few clouds were visible and of course it was a bit windy:  This is Hamburg!
