Euro-African Partnership Conference 2025

On October 29 & 30, 2025, the University of Teramo hosted the 7th Conference of the Euro-African Partnership, “Euro-African Academic and Scientific Cooperation: A Sign of Hope”, as part of the Jubilee of the Educational World.

 

The event brought together prominent academic leaders, including Monsignor Lorenzo Leuzzi, Rector Christian Corsi (University of Teramo), Rector Liborio Stuppia (University of Chieti-Pescara), Rector Fabio Graziosi (University of L’Aquila), Vice-Chancellor Rita Akosua Dickson (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana), and Vice-Chancellor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole (University of Ilorin, Nigeria). 

Students from Ghana and Nigeria currently enrolled in the international master’s programmes InterMaths and Realmaths took part in the conference, accompanying Prof. Bruno Rubino, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at the University of L’Aquila

The two-day event concluded on October 30 with a meeting held at Palazzo Camponeschi in L’Aquila, attended by Rector Graziosi, Prof. Rubino, Vice-Chancellor Dickson, Vice-Chancellor Egbewole, and a delegation from the Ghanaian Embassy in Rome.

The University of L’Aquila, long committed to fostering Euro-African collaboration, reaffirmed its leading role in promoting academic partnerships through numerous projects and cooperation agreements with African universities, a tangible example of its dedication to inclusive, sustainable, and globally engaged higher education.
