On Wednesday, July 9 2025, the University of L'Aquila signed a Memorandum to join the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies.

The meeting was held at INFN, Rome and featured, among other representatives, the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, Italy’s Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, as well as our Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Bruno Rubino, our current Rector, Edoardo Alesse, as well as our Rector-Elect, Fabio Graziosi.
